Carter Smith
Carter Smith is a Vice President with ButcherJoseph & Co., a boutique investment banking firm based in St. Louis. Carter has been recognized as an Emerging Leader by The M&A Advisor and recognized as a Top M&A Professional in St. Louis by the readers of Small Business Monthly.
Carter is a Director of the DESSH Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that supports patients with DeSanto-Shinawi Syndrome (DESSH). Carter’s oldest son August (b. 2021) is diagnosed with DESSH.
Carter earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Princeton University and an MBA in entrepreneurship and marketing from Washington University’s Olin School of Business.
