About the author

Amanda Unverferth

Amanda Unverferth is a recent graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia where she earned a bachelor's degree in economics as well as a minors in mathematics and natural resources. During her undergraduate studies she worked as a teaching assistant for the economics department in an introductory macroeconomics course. She has also interned in the education branch of the Missouri Department of Conservation where she completed an independent project regarding the socioeconomics of environmental education within the St. Louis region. In the fall of 2024, she will begin a master's program of study in economics at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Currently, she is one of the Show-Me Institute’s two interns for the summer of 2024.
